Job description


As a Production Planner at NIMO, you will have a central role in our production flow. You are responsible for planning, controlling and optimizing production based on customer orders, forecasts, material availability and capacity. The goal is to create stable and realistic plans that contribute to a smooth production flow and high delivery precision.

The role combines long-term capacity planning with short-term detailed planning. You also work with forecasts and analysis and have an important function in our Sales and Operations Planning (SVP).

You are part of the Supply Chain team, which includes Order & Material Planning, Warehouse/Logistics and Strategic Purchasing. In the role, you have a close collaboration with Production and act as an important link between several parts of the business. You ensure that changes and priorities are communicated, anchored and implemented in a stable plan.

Your main areas of responsibility:
•    Responsible for rate planning and production planning in the short and long term by balancing customer orders, forecasts, capacity and material availability into a stable and feasible production flow.
•    Update and optimize planning documents in the business system.
•    Monitor the production plan and replan when conditions change.
•    Collect, quality assurance and update customer forecasts.
•    Review and analyze forecast data and outcomes and contribute to improved forecast precision.
•    Be a key function in Sales and Business Planning (SVP).
•    Coordinate planning data between Supply Chain, Production and Sales.
•    Support production in prioritizing and capacity issues.
•    Update preparation and planning data in Jeeves.
•    Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities in the production flow.
•    Participate in the development of system support, digital tools and working methods in planning and forecasting.


Qualifications


To be successful in the role, we see that you have:
•    University education or equivalent competence acquired through experience. We would like you to have previous experience in production work.
•    Education in production planning or equivalent work experience.
•    Good habit of working in business systems
•    Experience in analyzing data and working with forecasts.
•    Good understanding of production flows and planning.
•    Good knowledge of the Office package and Power BI.
•    Good spoken Swedish and English writing.
•    B driver's license.

It is advantageous if you have experience with Jeeves and knowledge of SQL or equivalent. Experience in creating reports, diagrams and visualizations is also valuable in the role.
