We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist 

 In this role, you will:

• Deliver hands-on engineering for GFDP‑RDP‑On‑Prem across development, pre-production and production environments to support stability and change delivery.
• Build and troubleshoot Python/PySpark solutions aligned to tenant ETL patterns and platform standards.
• Drive DevOps and CI/CD improvements through automation, standardised pipeline patterns and repeatable deployments across tenants.
• Implement enterprise deployment controls (e.g., Ansible DeployControl-style standards) and coordinate adoption with central teams and tenants.
• Own secrets management activities including HashiCorp Vault integration, key rotation processes and safe migration activities (e.g., kv1 to kv2).
• Lead tenant onboarding and go-live readiness from the platform side (templates, schemas, permissions, folder structures and deployment readiness).
• Contribute to major upgrades and migrations (e.g., Spark upgrades across environments and large server estates) using phased execution and automation.
• Provide technical leadership for strategic deliveries (e.g., Compass data project) through design ownership, stakeholder coordination and delivery execution.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong experience in Python and PySpark, including debugging, performance tuning, code review and quality practices.
• Strong experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation (e.g., Jenkins/CloudBees, Ansible and Git workflows).
• Proven ability to implement enterprise deployment controls and standards across multiple tenants and repositories.
• Experience working with Apache Spark and common distributed data processing patterns; familiarity with other distributed platforms is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience with secrets management and secure integration patterns, ideally HashiCorp Vault, including key rotation and migrations.
• Experience supporting tenant go-lives and environment readiness (templates, schemas, permissions and deployment readiness checks).
• Good understanding of DevSecOps controls (access management, segregation of duties, audit readiness and change/release processes).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux/UNIX environments, including log analysis and root cause investigation across CI/CD and runtime behaviour.
