As a cleaning help/bar back at Prelaten, your most important task is to ensure good flow in the bars and keep the premises tidy throughout the opening hours. The role is an important support function for the bartenders, and you will contribute to ensuring that the bar stations have what they need at all times to be able to work quickly and efficiently.

Work tasks include cleaning up beer glasses and other used glasses from tables and the rest of the room. The glasses must be washed continuously, sorted and stacked in the correct place in the various bar stations. You must monitor where glasses are running low and ensure refills before the bar stations run empty.

Tables must be cleared and washed continuously, and empty glasses, bottles and other waste must be removed so that the premises are kept tidy throughout the opening hours.

As a bar back, you must ensure that the bar stations have the necessary refills. This includes, among other things, fetching and refilling ice, glasses and other goods the bartenders need during operations. You must keep an eye on the needs of the various bar stations and contribute with continuous refills.

Garbage must be emptied when necessary, garbage bags must be changed, and the waste must be handled and placed in the right place.

You are expected to be active and aware of what is needed without the bartenders constantly having to ask for help. When one task is finished, you should look for what should be done next. During periods of high activity, tasks that affect the operation of the bars must be prioritized, especially access to clean glasses, ice and other necessary refills.

Cleaning help/bar back is an important part of the operation at Prelaten. Good effort in the role contributes to faster serving, better workflow for the bartenders and a tidy and pleasant room for the guests.
