Your tasks

As a data engineer, you develop and operate modern data platforms in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric and ensure that high-quality data is reliably used foranalyses, Reporting and machine learning applications available. 

• Data Engineering: Conception, development and continuous development of modern data pipelines in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.  

• Data quality: Ensuring high data quality, completeness and reproducibility as well as implementing efficient incremental data loading processes.  

• Data Integration: Development and maintenance of efficient ETL/ELT processes and API-based data integrations.  

• Platform operations: Development of robust monitoring, logging and error handling concepts as well as continuous optimization of performance, costs and data workflows.  

• Data Architecture: Participation in building a scalable data architecture including test, staging and production environments as well as modern technologies such as CI/CD, Fabric Pipelines, dbt or Airflow.  

• Collaboration: Close coordination with the Head of Data & Analytics and Data Analysts to provide high-quality data for Power BI dashboards and machine learning models. 

Your profile as a data engineer

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in building and operating data pipelines or data platforms - ideally at senior level, motivated Mid-level profiles are also welcome.  

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Services, particularly Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse; ideally supplemented by experience withMicrosoft Company
