At MANGO, we are committed to becoming a data-driven company and are forming a Data and Advanced Analytics team made up of more than 50 professionals. This team includes profiles such as ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Big Data Engineers and Software Engineers, with the aim of developing cutting-edge platforms. These platforms will allow our analytical squads to create innovative solutions based on Artificial Intelligence. The Advanced Analytics team is made up of the generative AI squad focused on initiatives with generative algorithms and the development of an internal platform based on LLM. The personalization squad, which creates algorithms to deliver personalized experiences and product recommendations in real time in mango.com; the Pricing squad, which optimizes promotions and discounts to improve the company's margin. And finally, the Product squad focuses on improving decisions in the first steps of creating the collection. For this last squad, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist, preferably with experience in the retail-fashion sector to work on projects such as optimizing purchase quantities for new collections, assortment planning (where the assignment of products to stores is optimized), optimizing the last units of online stock for sale in the most profitable stores, and an assistant based on Generative AI to create reports and obtain action recommendations. In addition, the team already has projects in production such as the anticipation of best-sellers, the prediction of sales and demand (including stockouts) and the automatic labeling of garment characteristics using computer vision and natural language processing techniques. All projects are developed in the AWS cloud using a variety of advanced tools and services. These include Amazon S3 for storage, AWS Lambda for serverless computing, and various APIs for service integration. In addition, we use Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling, and Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR) for container management and Jenkins for their deployment. We use MongoDB as our NoSQL database and Databricks for our Datalake. You will understand the problems/difficulties encountered by the different departments of planning, purchasing, distribution, etc. You will develop quick proofs of concept with tools such as Streamlit, understanding the quality and potential of the available and/or necessary data, extracting relevant knowledgethat allows you to prepare a possible future project with associated ROI metrics. You will write Basic statements of work for projects with all parties involved. You will develop projects based on Machine Learning algorithms in production environments. You will collaborate with other Data Scientists, ML Engineers and members of the Advanced Analytics team for the correct implementation of solutions. You will use Big Data technologies to manage large volumes of data and improve the efficiency of the models. ABOUT YOU Degree/Master in Computer Engineering, Data Science Engineering, or similar. At least 5 years of experience developing in Python or another object-oriented language. Experience in using and putting libraries into production. focused on Deep Learning such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Solid knowledge in Machine Learning and neural networks. Architectures and evaluation methods. Experience in prototyping software solutions based on Machine Learning and ability to define the experimentation necessary in this type of projects. Having led the end-to-end development of a project from the prototype phase to production and maintenance is highly valued. Knowledge of good programming and software development practices is highly valued: tests, automations, CI pipelines (Jenkins), etc. Having worked with cloud services mentioned above is highly valued.
