We are looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Full Stack Python Software Engineer, with solid experience — at least five years — in Python web frameworks, such as Django, Flask or FastAPI, and in developing interfaces with Angular. The professional must have a solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, SQL and NoSQL databases, distributed systems and communication protocols. We are looking for someone who can get started quickly, adapt to new environments and systems, and demonstrate strong reasoning and problem-solving skills. The candidate must work closely with the Product Owner, architects, business analysts, Tech Leads and other developers, proposing efficient and elegant solutions. Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, including the use of tools such as GitHub Copilot, RAG and AI agents to increase productivity, will be considered a great advantage. You will have the opportunity to develop advanced systems using cutting-edge technologies and gain valuable experience with digital marketing platforms in the financial sector. Responsibilities As a Full Stack Software Engineer, specializing in web technologies, you will be responsible for: Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in the design, development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. Write clean, efficient, testable and maintainable Python code using the Django framework. Develop and improve the front-end using Angular, considering a future migration to ReactJS. Contribute to the development and customization of the CMS using the Wagtail framework. Apply your experience with AWS services to assist in the architecture and implementation of features of a consolidated, cloud-based application. Design, implement and maintain robust task processing and/or messaging systems. Knowledge of the Celery framework will be considered a big plus. Integrate and optimize the PostgreSQL database in applications. Utilize modern code quality tools and participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and compliance with best practices. As a member of an agile team, collaborate with the Product Owner and other engineers to deeply understand business requirements and their implementation in the software. Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry best practices, especially related to Artificial Intelligence. Consume APIs from suppliers and develop APIs for the platform, following best practices for REST APIs and microservices. Adapt quickly to the job, interpret requirements that sometimes may not be fully defined, and ask the right questions to clarify and consolidate them. Think creatively when proposing solutions, considering not only the immediate task, but also the broader context of the product's functionalities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Advanced/fluent English - will work with a Canadian team. At least five to six years of practical experience in software development. Proficiency in Python and Django, preferably, or Flask. Solid knowledge of front-end development, preferably with Angular. Additional knowledge of ReactJS will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with Wagtail or another CMS framework will be considered an advantage. Knowledge of SQL, data modeling and good database practices. Knowledge of PostgreSQL is preferred, but proven practical experience with other modern relational database management systems will be accepted. Experience in both consuming third-party APIs and developing APIs following best practices, including OpenAPI and Swagger. Knowledge of AWS cloud services and deployment strategies. Experience with messaging or stream processing platforms, such as Celery, RabbitMQ or Kafka. Extensive practical experience with modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. Experience with deployment using Jenkins or similar CI/CD orchestration tool, as well as managing code and branches with Git. Experience with plugins and AI tools for code development.
