Are you the automation engineer who takes others along in an automated approach? In this role you work on a complex, highly secure IT infrastructure where Python and Ansible are your daily tools. You translate architectural decisions into concrete solution building blocks and are the technical anchor point for the team.
About the position
As a Senior IT Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you automate manual actions, manage private cloud environments and set up CI/CD pipelines. You are a source of information for third-line questions and think tactically about connections, migrations, security and performance.
Your responsibilities: - Automating manual actions with Python and Ansible (IaC/CaC) - Technical design and management of private cloud environments (IaaS and PaaS) - Executing upgrades and patches on environmental components - Setting up logging, monitoring and optimization including dashboarding - Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines and version management systems - Release Management and Capacity Management - Guiding and training team members in the field of automation - Documenting designs, management processes and test strategy input - Thinking about security best practices: encryption, segmentation and Secure by Design What do we offer you?
