We are now looking for a senior developer for a Nordic venture studio company where consulting meets startups and investments. ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a Nordic venture studio company based in Stockholm that works hands-on with building and developing digital products and tech companies. Unlike a traditional consulting business, the company works closely with founders and core teams and combines technical product development with investments and company building.

The assignments vary from building new products and platforms from scratch together with startups to solving complex technical challenges at larger established companies. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Backend / Fullstack Developer, you get a broad and varied role where you combine hands-on development with technical ownership and business understanding. Your main focus is on backend development in Python and on designing and developing scalable systems. Depending on the project, you will also work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and container-based environments.

You will switch between different types of projects - from building a product from scratch together with a small startup team to working with complex and business-critical solutions at larger organizations. You will also be part of an internal technical forum together with other senior developers, DevOps specialists and architects where you share knowledge and drive issues around code quality, architecture and modern technical solutions.

YOUR MAIN JOB TASKS

    Design, develop and further develop scalable backend solutions with Python
    Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask and FastAPI
    Take responsibility for CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps flows
    Work with cloud infrastructure, primarily GCP or AWS
    Build and further develop container-based solutions with Docker and Kubernetes
    Work with Infrastructure as Code through, for example, Terraform or Ansible
    Work closely with founders, product teams, technical specialists and other decision makers
    Switch between product development in a startup environment and complex projects at larger organizations
    Explore and implement AI-based tools and working methods where they creates concrete value

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU AS:

    Has approximately 5-7 years of professional experience in backend or full stack development
    Has very good knowledge of Python and experience with, for example, Django, Flask or FastAPI
    Has experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP or AWS
    Has worked with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices as well as container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
    Has experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform or Ansible
    Has previous experience from consulting or working in several different types of projects and environments
    Communicates freely in Swedish and English

AI and modern development tools

You do not need to be an AI/ML specialist, but we would like you to be curious about the field and have already started using AI as a natural part of your work.

This may mean, for example, that you have experience with AI agents or autonomous workflows, use tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to streamline development or have been involved in building AI functionality in modern applications. backend environments
