Description:

When someone plans a train journey, buys a bus ticket or finds the fastest way home, there is a high probability that the technology from Entur is part of the journey. We develop and operate some of Norway's most important digital services for public transport, and contribute to making sustainable travel opportunities more accessible to everyone.

To succeed in this, security must be an integral part of everything we do. Therefore, we are now looking for a security engineer who will help to strengthen and further develop our security function. This is an opportunity for you who want to work closely with technology, take responsibility for important security initiatives and help protect services used by people across the country.

As a security engineer at Entur, you get to help secure digital services that are used by millions of travelers every year. You will be a central part of our security environment and will work closely with developers and platform teams to build security into our solutions throughout the development cycle.

This is primarily a technical role. You will contribute with practical security work in development projects, further develop tools and processes for application security, and help the teams to identify and deal with vulnerabilities early in the development process.

We are looking for you who like to combine security expertise with hands-on work. With us, you get to work with modern application security and DevSecOps. You will also carry out security and risk assessments, but the main focus is to translate insights into concrete technical improvements and secure solutions.

This is a role for you who want to influence how security is built into modern digital products, and who are motivated by working closely with technology, developers and platforms.

This will be some of what you will be working with

• Continue developing and improving solutions within application security, including SAST, SCA and vulnerability management

• Identify vulnerabilities and follow up improvement measures in collaboration with development and platform teams

• Contribute to building and further developing the security function and security platform in Entur

• Integrate security mechanisms and controls into development and CI/CD processes

• Be a professional sparring partner for developers, architects and other technology environments

• Contribute to strengthening internal security expertise through consultancy, expertise sharing and best practice

We think you have

• Higher education in information security, cyber security, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent

• Minimum five years experience as a security engineer or from a similar technical security role

• Experience with programming in Golang, Python and/or Java

• Experience with Terraform and containerization (Docker/ Kubernetes)

• Experience with security engineering, application security or security in development and platform environments

• Practical experience with safety assessments and risk assessments, and ability to translate findings into concrete improvement measures

• Experience with cloud-based development (Azure/ GCP), preferably with expertise in security

• Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian
