At FINQR we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to combine hands-on development with broad technical responsibility for our products and solutions. You work closely with the business and our customers and follow the development all the way from need and idea to finished solution in production.

About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you get a central role in the development of FINQR's products. You work through the entire development cycle - from understanding needs and finding the right solution to developing, testing, deploying and further developing.

The role is hands-on and you will build everything yourself from new functionality and automations to integrations and internal tools. You also contribute to technical path choices within, for example, architecture and infrastructure and collaborate with our external development and technology partners where necessary.

AI is a natural part of our way of working and is used to develop faster and smarter - without compromising quality, security or user experience.



What will you do?

In the role, you will, among other things:

    

develop and further develop FINQR's products and technical solutions

    

drive development from needs and solution design to development, quality assurance and deployment

    

develop new functionality, integrations, automations and internal tools

    

use AI and modern development tools to streamline development work

    

contribute to technical architecture, infrastructure and other technical path choices

    

work with operation, management and further development as well as collaborating with external development and technology partners.

The technology we work with

Our technology stack consists of:

    

Python and Flask for backend

    

React and TypeScript for frontend and user interface as well as TypeScript for application development in both backend and frontend

    

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes for cloud solutions and infrastructure.

You don't have to have worked with the exact same technology stack before - it's more important that you have a strong technical foundation, broad development experience and can quickly get used to new technologies and environments.

You like to make things happen and are comfortable taking a need or problem yourself and driving it all the way to a working solution. You are technically curious but at the same time pragmatic – for you, good technology is about building the right solution for the right need.

You are also communicative and can move between technology and business. You enjoy responsibility, collaboration and an environment where the path from idea to decision and implementation is short.

To be successful in the role, you need to have:

    

university or higher education in computer technology, computer science, software development or equivalent technical education with a clear focus on programming and system development

    

+5 years of experience in independently running technical development or product development from concept to completion solution

    

practical experience of system integrations, APIs, cloud services and modern digital platforms

    

experience of technical architecture and infrastructure and the ability to make and justify technical path choices

    

experience of developing, configuring and deploying technical solutions yourself, for example integrations, automations or internal applications

    

experience with AI-based development tools and an interest in how AI can be used to streamline development work

    

good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have:

    

experience of working with external development or system suppliers

    

experience of requirements setting, product development or project management

    

experience from fintech, credit market, debt collection or other regulated activities.
