The Technology and innovation support area brings together Statnett's technology environments, purchasing function and R&D activities. Among other things, the area is responsible for identifying, qualifying and adopting the best technological solutions for Statnett's facilities, while at the same time we develop and standardize technical solutions that support safe and efficient operation. We are now looking for a senior electromechanical engineer for the Cable and Wire Technology Development section. Here you will be part of a specialized professional environment with high competence and great influence. The team works with the development, standardization and further development of electromechanical components in wiring systems, including fittings, liners, insulators and sensors. Digitalisation is central to Statnett's development of future grid systems. Through the use of information models, BIM and new technology, we contribute to developing smarter, more efficient and more sustainable solutions for the power system. Place of work is at our head office in Nydalen in Oslo or at our office in Trondheim. As a senior engineer, you will have a central role in the development, qualification and standardization of electromechanical products and solutions for power lines. You will work closely with internal professional environments, projects, suppliers and external partners in Norway and internationally. The position involves some travel activities in connection with project and supplier follow-up in Norway and abroad. We are looking for you with a relevant technical education and an interest in electromechanical solutions.
