Mission of the position

• You will be responsible for leading and developing Rankmi's commercial operations in Chile, ensuring sustained business growth, customer satisfaction and compliance with the company's strategic objectives, together with a world-class team!

• Software Development: Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of products. Always using the technologies selected in Rankmi or approved by the Technical Lead and Engineer Manager.
• Code Reviews: Perform code review to ensure quality and adherence to best practices. Provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
• Debugging and Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Identify and fix errors in code through rigorous testing and effective debugging.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members. Always seek approval from the Managing Engineer. Actively participate in team meetings and ceremonies.
• Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation related to software development.
• Basic Mentoring: Support and guide junior developers, helping them improve their technical skills and understanding of projects. Share knowledge and promote an environment of continuous learning.

Mission of the position

• Contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of high quality applications in the company. Collaborate with other developers and teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. In addition, it also acts as a bridge between junior and senior developers, supporting both technical tasks and basic mentoring.

• Feature Delivery: Complete assigned tasks and features within the deadline and with high quality. Ensure that the code is efficient, maintainable and scalable.
• Code Quality: Maintain high quality standards in the code, following best development practices. Contribute to the reduction of bugs and problems through code review and rigorous testing.
• Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate continuous improvement in technical skills and product knowledge. Participate in the implementation of process improvements.
• Customer Satisfaction: Contribute to the development of solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. Respond effectively to customer issues and requests.

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
• Primary knowledge of React and Ruby on Rails. Exceptionally, React Native, Python and Node.js.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. Experience working with development teams and on software projects. Experience with agile development tools and practices (YouTrack, Git, Docker, CI/CD, etc.
