· Training: Civil Engineering, Computer Science or related career

· Desirable experience in modernizing legacy systems, ideally in .NET

· Ability to design solutions

· Good technical judgment and communication skills to influence architectural decisions

Required technologies and experience:

· C# .NET: .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET6/8+

· Architecture: REST APIs, Microservices, Clean Architecture, refactoring patterns

· Databases:

· SQL Server (T-SQL, performance, stored procedures)

· PostgreSQL (experience in migrations or SQLAlchemy desirable)

· Internationalization: localization management, time zones, formatsregional

· Python with Flask or Django (desirable, not exclusive).

· Unit, integration, automated tests.

· EntityFramework with SQL Server, and/or SQLAlchemy with PostgreSQL.SQL query optimization.

· Git, modern development methodologies.

Join MAXXA as a Senior Software Engineer and lead one of our most relevant technological challenges: the modernization and migration of some of our core systems built on .NET Framework and SQL Server, taking them towards modern architectures based on .NET 8+, PostgreSQL and prepared for international operation!

We are looking for a person with strong judgmenttechnical, autonomy and practical experience in the evolution of legacy platforms towards modern environments, ensuring standards of maintainability, scalability, quality and security.

What will be your purpose?
You will be responsible for designing and executing the migration of multiple critical systems for the company (issuance of guarantees, guarantee portfolio, inter-area workflows, among others), along with raising the technical culture and good practices of theteam

Your main challenges:
· Lead the migration of legacy services and applications in the .NET Framework to modern versions of .NET (6/8+), applying architecture patterns and secure refactoring.

· Design and execute the database migration from SQL Server to PostgreSQL, including analysis, normalization, performance and compatibility.

· Implementinternationalization to support multi-country operations

· Document technical decisions, debt and migration roadmap.
