We are looking for a: Software Engineer Test & Automation (Python)

No standard business software or websites. You build applications in Python that talk to real measuring and control equipment: control a pressure generator, read a multimeter, process measured values ​​and run complete test processes automatically. What are you going to do? - develop software in Python for production, testing and calibration processes; - control measuring equipment and hardware via various interfaces and protocols; - smartly automate manual technical and measurement processes; - build modular, reusable software, using Git for version control; - write unit tests and work according to Test Driven Development; - improve and expand existing applications, and get to the bottom of problems; - think about architecture, standardization and collaboration with other technical disciplines.
For us, software must not only work today, but also be easy to expand tomorrow. You will be given every opportunity to contribute your own ideas and apply new techniques. Software and hardware
The best thing about this role: you immediately see what your code does. You start a test, control a device and process the result. Is an instrument not doing what you expect? Then you dive in. You don't have to be a calibration specialist; Curiosity about how software, electronics and measuring equipment work together is more important.
