Description: Late summer is here ☀️ and one of our popular sous chefs has decided to embark on new adventures.

If you want to take the chance to take over the role of sous chef at the world's most beautiful neighborhood restaurant, now is the time to apply. Österlånggatan 17 is located in the middle of Gamla Stan and welcomes neighbors, regulars and guests for lunch & dinner all week long.

At Österlånggatan 17 you are welcome when you want, however you want - relaxed on a curved sofa during a lively dinner with a crispy raw rake and a bottle of chablis. Or maybe sipping a glass of cava in the bar late one afternoon. On the menu you will find tones from the classic, from the country kitchen, from the modern home and the recognizable feeling from the simple way of eating in southern Europe.

Sous chef:

As a sous chef, your task is to run and develop the kitchen according to the frameworks set by the management, the head chef and the restaurant manager. Your work consists of ensuring that the kitchen is well-functioning, profitable and with well-being staff. You will work in consultation with the head chef.

who has previous experience in a leading position in restaurant and kitchen
who is prestigeless, clear and responsive as a leader who is motivated and can motivate employees to work according to set goals who is social and pleasant and takes initiative

About the position

You will i.a. responsible for

    maintaining company routines and policy
    self-control - HACCP
    lead and coach employees in the kitchen

You will also be co-responsible for

    inventory, monthly
    orders and returns
    ensure the quality of the food served
    recipe & calculation documentation
    learning new dishes
    achieve set food percentage target
    optimization of personnel costs on exposed shifts
