Description: Responsibilities: - development and maintenance of a cloud platform based on OpenStack - implementations, updates, monitoring, diagnostics;
- automation of the service life cycle: Ansible, Terraform, pipelines in GitLab CI/CD
- functional (Tempest) and performance (Rally, fio, iperf) tests of implemented services;
- maintenance and development of the observability stack: Prometheus, Mimir, Grafana, Loki, Fluent Bit, Grafana Alloy, Alertmanager;
- code review of the Infrastructure as Code code and co-creating team standards;
- providing compute, storage and GPU resources for AI/ML, Big Data and Cloud teams;
- creating operational and design documentation and participating in maintaining infrastructure compliance with the requirements of the information security management system (ISO 27001, NIS2);
- cooperation with network and hardware teams in maintaining the base infrastructure;
- participation in rotational team duty.
Requirements:
- education: higher education (including bachelor's degree) - necessary
- other: BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- higher technical education, preferably computer science or related field (1st or 2nd cycle studies) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
or student status, at least 3 years in a technical field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position;
- experience in maintaining one of the platforms in production cloud or virtualization - e.g. OpenStack, OpenNebula, Proxmox, VMware, Kubernetes on your own infrastructure; you know the IaaS model from the operator's perspective,
not only the user's side;
- practical knowledge of Python and Bash - you write scripts and automate your work;
- practical knowledge of virtualization: KVM/QEMU, libvirt;
- practical knowledge of containerization: Docker or Podman;
- working with IaC and CI/CD in practice - Ansible or Terraform, Git/GitLab;
- ability to document own solutions and transfer knowledge to the team;
- readiness to participate in rotating duty;
- knowledge of English allowing for free work with technical documentation;
