About the service
In Oxelösund, custom sheet metal is manufactured through complex production flows. In order to achieve high delivery precision, high demands are placed on production planning, and in the role of development engineer within Tactical Planning, you have great opportunities to contribute. The work takes place in close collaboration with cross-functional planning and development functions as well as those responsible for the operation of the rolling mill. The work takes place on a tactical level, i.e. a time horizon of up to approx. 6 months and is supported by advanced planning systems.

Responsibilities include:

•Planning of orders to ensure high delivery precision, productivity and efficient utilization of bottlenecks

•Ownership of parts of our production planning system Company Planner (Quintiq)

•Development of principles for production planning

•Analysis of production and plan outcomes to act on deviations and develop the process

•Participating in cross-functional projects within logistics and planning

Your qualifications
As a person, you are positive, driven and results-oriented. You enjoy working in close collaboration with the production organization and in contact with the rest of the organization you create good relationships by being responsive, communicative and educational. You are structured and have the ability to search, process and analyze large amounts of data and draw conclusions that can be used to further increase our planning ability. You can express yourself freely in both Swedish and English in speech as well as in writing.

We are looking for you who are a civil engineer or equivalent, preferably with a focus on logistics and production control, and who have a few years of experience in production planning and/or logistics.
