We are repeating our success for the 5th time and are now looking for students for summer 2027!

As an intern with us, you will be part of a team that gets a real business case and works with it from idea to finished solution. Together with other students, supervisors and subject experts, you will test out agile working methods, solve complex challenges and work on a real project. The work will vary and can include everything from strategy and user testing, to coding and data analysis. We have a strong focus on multidisciplinarity at Axaz and work to put together a team that complements each other.

• You will get a summer full of practical experience, technical challenges and problem solving in a growing company

• You will work in an independent team with a real project, and be responsible from idea to finished solution

• We are a social and active group that finds a lot of fun inside and outside of work, e.g. laggingpils, quiz, padel, golf, jogging and bouldering

• We have modern office premises in the center of Oslo in the VG building

• There are good opportunities for part-time and/or full-time work after completing the internship

As an AI-first company, we always use the newest and best models. We are always experimenting with which models suit which purposes. As an intern, you will take part in this experimentation and use AI as a central part of the project. This is also an important contribution to how Axaz uses AI in an efficient, ethical and forward-looking way.

• You start your last year of study in autumn 2027

• You study something in technology, engineering, economics, business development or strategy

• You have a genuine interest in technology and problem solving

• You understand the value of teamwork, but you take independent responsibility for driving your own tasks forward

Our sumer interns were assigned to fix a real problem for one of our customers, Enhanced Drilling (Expro). The project was to digitize and simplify the reporting from the drilling rig to shore.

• User insight: Mapping needs and bottlenecks through interviews and workshops with operators and well engineers.

• Offline application: Developed a desktop application adapted to offshore conditions, which works without stable internet coverage.

• Admin portal: Built a portal that automates the data transfer and provides a real-time overview of the reports.

• Integration: Set up the architecture and integrated the solution into the customer's existing data platform.

• Period: 8 weeks (June – August), including two weeks joint holiday in July

• Kick-off: We meet in the spring to get to know each other better and this year's case

• Workplace: Our modern premises in central Oslo, Akersgata 55, (you also get access to our training room, a hearty lunch and perhaps Oslo's best roof terrace)

• Salary: Hourly salary
