• Advanced English (fluent spoken and written).

• More than 10 years of industry experience as a software engineer, with extensive experience working with Python.

• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture infrastructure, including familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Experience working with databases such as Postgres and MongoDB.

The Tech Lead will oversee the short-term integration of the recently acquired background check solutions into Checkr. Responsibilities include working on data provider integrations and evolving the system into a long-term identity verification platform. The current solution includes multiple public APIs, public and internal portals, and numerous microservices.
We are looking for a technical leader who will collaborate with various internal teams across the company. You will work closely with the product team and development teams.

• Lead product development from conception, design, and implementation through to launch.
• Collaborate with other engineers and the Product Manager on the design and architecture of new systems.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software.
• Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for individual projects.
