Company: STATENS KARTVERK HØNEFOSS

Country: Norway

Type: Onsite

Employment: Full-time

Description: About the position

Kartverket manages and develops some of Norway's most important digital joint solutions. Our systems are used by the public sector, businesses and citizens, and are a central part of the digital infrastructure linked to property, location information, land and community planning.

We will strengthen our internal development capacity and are therefore looking for a developer who will contribute to developing, modernizing and managing robust digital solutions over time. With us, you will be part of interdisciplinary product teams that work with complex systems, high professional quality and solutions that actually mean something to society.

In the coming years, we will carry out major modernization efforts so that our data and services can be shared, used and exploited more effectively - both in the public and private sectors. IT is an important part of this investment, with product-oriented teams, further investment in the cloud and a good balance between internal and external expertise. To contribute to this venture, we now need a new developer for our SKOOP team.

SKOOP is a platform team that develops and offers services within observability and monitoring. We make it easier for our development teams to understand how their applications work, detect problems, troubleshoot and find the root cause when something goes wrong. The team delivers services both to traditional server environments and to services running on our modern application platform SKIP, based on Kubernetes. We work across public and private clouds.

Our technology landscape includes, among other things, OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, Grafana, Zabbix, PostHog and Instatus.

Workplace is preferably at our head office in Hønefoss, but for the right candidate, the workplace can be at our office at The joke is considered.
