Description: About the position Do you want to help develop platform solutions that create value? Now we need you who will use your experience to make our platforms even better for the benefit of the police and all the citizens of our country. We need more developers for the delivery area Platform. Here we develop good infrastructure and platform services with a high degree of automation and self-service. This is how we make it easier and more efficient for other teams to work autonomously so that we can create faster value for the police and society. When you work in Plattform, it is an advantage to have a good breadth of different programming languages, tools and technologies. We have a broad tech stack that includes Go, Python, Kotlin, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, GitLab, Vault, TypeScript, React, PowerShell and cloud services such as Azure. As a developer, you will be part of section Development. The section consists of an environment with around 200 colleagues in interdisciplinary teams. You get to influence the choice of technology and tools, the way of working, and work in all layers of the code base. Many of us pair program for better quality and faster processes. We also collaborate across teams and disciplines, which means that there are many opportunities to develop further with us. In the Police IT unit (PIT) we have over 850 employees. We create value for citizens, partners and colleagues in the police. As part of the police's important social mission, we must prevent and fight crime, create safety and safeguard the rule of law.
