We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience in React and Python.

Our product is an EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) cloud platform that allows customers to identify hazards, perform inspections, conduct audits, and streamline operations.

The application is hosted on AWS and uses Lambda, VPC, and RDS (Postgres) on the backend. We are starting to work with Django Rest Framework (DRF) on the backend as well. The frontend is React (version 18). We are starting to use Redux and have also implemented Service Workers on the frontend to support offline mode and background activities. Fairly complex application with almost 100 data models.

Minimum requirements to apply:

• At least 5+ years of professional development experience (Django, Python, ReactJS, and Postgres proficiency)
• Experience with Django API Development (native and DRF)
• Experience with React frontend single-page application development, SQL databases and their Django ORM counterparts.

Bonus Points, but not requirements:

• Experience with AWS including Lambda, VPC, EC2, ECS, RDS, SNS, SES, S3
• Experience with service workers
• Experience with tools and systems, such as Heroku, Codeship, Zappa, Git, and Bitbucket pipelines

What you will be doing:

• Actively developing our application with a strong focus on the Django API and Postgres Database
• Adding and improving features from concept through requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing.
• Writing elegant, scalable code with an appropriate level of supporting test coverage.
• Contributing thoughts and ideas on how to improve products and execute them.
