As a remote-first company we have team members across different countries however for this position we are looking for Python Developers located Colombia to join our engineering team to help us develop and maintain our products. If you are located outside of Colombia, please see our other open remote positions.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent English communication skills and have knowledge and experience in data analysis, writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with 3rd-party web services.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Write and debug Python code.

2. Test and debug code

3. Optimize and improve existing components and systems responsiveness and performance.

4. Coordinate and with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Must be in Colombia
Experience with RoR
Data analysis and modelling
Experience with Kubernetes

Minimum Qualifications

Exceptionally good ability to speak and write English (essential)
More than 2 years of experience with Python
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Prototyping and coding of basic algorithms in Python
Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, Testing and RESTful
Experience working with PostgreSQL
SQL queries writing
