Description: **We are looking for an Application Developer** person in Kemi and Tornio. We offer an interesting and challenging task where you can strengthen your skills by working together with experienced and dedicated professionals in the middle of production.

As an **Application Developer** you belong to the Chrome and EvoCarbon IT Solutions team. You support application maintenance and development in production, you support continuous improvement of services and solutions. You build and deliver a cyber-secure and reliable IT service and act as a reliable partner for various stakeholders. In this role, you will be based in Kemi, but you will also visit Tornio if your duties require it. The position has the possibility of hybrid work, but close work every week is necessary.

**Main responsibilities** Plan, develop and implement production application development to achieve process improvements Life cycle management of applications in your own area of responsibility Cyber security improvements from the perspective of application development Support and development activities in accordance with the agreed service level or as defined in maintenance or project plans You identify business needs and opportunities for new effective solutions Taking responsibility for high quality to ensure and maintain in all areas of daily work, for example keeping maintenance documentation up-to-date Work in the IT projects of your area of responsibility as part of the project team End-user support including on-call work if necessary script, Java, JavaScript, Python, C/C++) and version control in product development tools (e.g. Git). Cooking tools (e.g. Visual Studio code) Good basic skills of server operating systems and databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL) Good basic skills of cloud technologies (Azure). Good problem solving, cooperation and communication skills Uncompromising attitude to job security
