Summary
Senior Oracle System Developer wanted for LR&T within Defense, working in a DevOps SCRUM team focused on further development of APEX applications for the Air Force.
The position includes development with Oracle APEX, JavaScript, PL/SQL, SQL and Python, setting up and using GitLab CI/CD pipelines and building connections via REST and XML.
You provide impact analyses, perform peer reviews and tests, maintain documentation and work closely with developers, testers and administrators.
Working environment requires strong security and compliance awareness, analytical skills, proactive attitude and good team and communication skills within an agile context.
Utrecht location, hybrid working (about 3 days at home), no on-call services; preference for candidates with demonstrable experience within the Ministry of Defense. Description of the assignment
You are part of a DevOps SCRUM team and are partly responsible for designing, developing, testing and delivering custom applications for the Air Force.
Important activities: further development of existing systems, building REST links, working with XML, carrying out impact analyzes and providing technical documentation.
You ensure safe, efficient and reusable solutions, optimize costs and quality and validate results together with user representatives.
Continuous integration and deployment via GitLab and CI/CD pipelines is an integral part of the development process.
You contribute to low-level design, write code with an eye for performance and user experience and provide technical support for integration and delivery. Required profile - At least 3 years of demonstrable work experience in an eCF Developer role (demonstrate e-1 to e-5 relevance in CV). - In-depth knowledge and experience with Oracle APEX, PL/SQL and SQL; experience with JavaScript and Python is required....
